The average grant allocation is within the range of RM1,000.00 to RM3,000.00, or even less, depending on the strength of the project proposal. The maximum limit for the application of the small grant for any activity is RM3,000.00.
All projects/activities supported by EAC for the year must be implemented within the period specified as per application.
WHO CAN APPLY
The EAC Small Grants is limited to applicants within Sabah. Please refer to Guidelines for Submission of Project Proposal and Implementation Report.
EAC expects the applicants to submit the Project Proposal in the prescribed format. Carefully read the instruction for preparing the concept note. Provide concise response to every question asked and limit the total length to no more than 3-pages. Submissions made in any other format will not be considered.
- Do not send any other supporting documents, unless requested.
- Only the short listed applicants will be contacted by EAC Secretariat
- Application can be submitted in either English or in Bahasa Melayu.
- Only one application per applicant is acceptable during the current grant cycle.
Before submitting the request, applicants should determine that the organization and the activity to be carried out, are both eligible for consideration under the program.
The application for EAC Sabah Small Grants may be submitted by e-mail, courier, or post (applications sent by Fax will not be accepted) not later than 1 March 2011. Application received after the deadline will be reviewed in the next grant cycle (September 2011).
A review may take up to one month to complete and applicants should keep the same in mind while conceptualising the Activity Plan.
The Management Group's decision is final and cannot be contested.
